When it comes to weight, you won’t be left worrying that the i6+ or i7+ will leave any nasty dents should they fall or hit a wall. They’re lightweight, which gives them that edge when it comes to needing a nimble, speedy, and maneuverable robot vacuum that gets the job done in record time.

With their integrated anti-drop and cliff-edge sensors, you can leave both the i6+ and the i7+ alone. Neither robots are likely to take a tumble. With those nifty sensors, you’ll never find your Roomba broken at the bottom of the stairs.
The Roomba i6+ has the same superior dirt pickup as the i7+. Making both robot vacuums one of the best unit on the market today.

The App that Helps You Clean
Of course, you can command your Roombas to clean whenever you please. Thanks to the instant connection with either your smartphone app or your home’s voice assistant device.
Set “Keep Out Zones” and boundaries. You can also send your Roomba to sudden messes via the app or by commanding it with your voice; it’ll follow your instructions immediately. This invaluable tool means you can say goodbye to hauling your vacuum cleaner from the closet and getting straight to work – now, you’ll never have to lift a finger.
Both Roombas have full access to iRobot’s app, giving customization options on where and when you want the robot to clean.
Are you interested in getting a pure clean on your hard floors? Whilst sold separately, both the i6+ and the i7+ can be connected to the BraavaJet M6, an incredible mop unit that’ll follow your Roomba around your floor, scrubbing your floors to gleaming perfection.
This is a fantastic, if not a little pricey, addition to the team. The fact that both units can be connected gives you the chance to invest immediately or a little further down the line.

So What’s the Catch?
There’s no catch, although while we stated that the Roomba i6+ and i7+ were practically identical, there are, of course, a few differences that set them apart. The main difference is that the i7+ comes with an extra filter to propel your filtration system to the next level.
This is fantastic if you’ve got pets that shed their fur continually, rather than just some of the time. It holds extra dander and debris and helps you keep your floors and air cleaner than ever before.
The iRobot app for both the robots allows you to automate, plan, and create virtual walls.
Otherwise, the i6+ is simply Amazon’s exclusive take on the i7+. It comes with a grey top, rather than the standard black one fitted on most other models. When it comes down to it, unless you’ve got an eye for color schemes and want your Roomba to look slightly different, there’s not much reason to choose one of these models over the other.
