Eureka Rapidclean Pro

150W Motor

When looking at a cordless stick vac, it’s generally a good idea to find out how powerful its motor is. The Eureka RapidClean Pro sports a 150W motor, which isn’t too far off from the industry standard. It provides enough cleaning power to remove small and medium-sized debris from carpet fibers and in between floorboards.

The RapidClean offers two power modes—low and high. The higher setting is made for deep-cleaning carpets, while the lower speed is reserved for cleaning bare floors while conserving battery life.

Eureka claims that the 25.2V battery is fade-free, meaning that the vacuum will not experience a gradual drop in power as the battery runs low. The battery is nondetachable, so as soon as it expires, you’ll need to pick up a brand-new stick vac.

Cyclonic Filtration

The RapidClean uses all kinds of filters to keep dust and debris from shooting out of the exhaust. The main filter is a cyclonic one, which keeps large debris up and out of the way to prevent the sponge filter from clogging. Whenever you power on the RapidClean, air spins inside the dustbin to separate fine particles from larger ones, so it never loses suction power.

Maneuverability

While most stick vacuum cleaners are a lot more maneuverable than uprights or canisters, the RapidClean takes it to a whole new level. It doesn’t just come with a swiveling neck, but you can lower the wand all the way down to the floor to poke the RapidClean’s floorhead beneath low-hanging furniture.

The V11 Torque Drive is unique in so many ways. First, it’s a smart vacuum cleaner that comes with Dyson’s DLS system that automatically adjusts motor speed and suction power based on the type of floor you’re cleaning. When transitioning from bare to carpeted surfaces, you won’t need to manually fiddle with a speed dial or button—instead, the V11 Torque Drive’s intelligent sensors shifts gears for you!

Real-Time Status Reports

One thing you’ll notice about the V11 Torque Drive is that it comes with an LED display. The screen shows all sorts of status reports, from which mode is active, how much battery is left over, and whether there are any minor maintenance issues with the tool (clogged filter and airway blockages). This eliminates the guesswork involved in taking care of your cordless stick vac, so you can get more done with less effort.

60-Minute Sessions per Charge

Perhaps what’s most surprising about the V11 Torque Drive is that the battery pack can provide as much as 60 minutes of continuous cleaning on a full charge. That’s 50% more cleaning time compared to the RapidClean with even better cleaning capabilities. When switched to the higher power setting, you’re looking at anywhere from 15 to 20 minutes per charge.

Whole-Machine Filtration

The V11 Torque Drive uses a wide range of filters to trap up to 99.99% of particles that make their way into the dustbin. It comes with 14 cyclones to fling large debris up and out of the main filter to prevent clogs and maximize suction performance.

Mini-Motorized Tool

Both the RapidClean and the V11 Torque Drive can convert into handheld vacuums by swapping out the long extension wand and floorhead with the included cleaning tools. However, the Dyson’s mini-motorized tool blows the competition away. It doesn’t rely on inward airflow to drive the brush roll, but instead, the motor actively spins the bristles to dig deep in upholstery fibers and cushions to remove pet hair and dirt.
