If you’re a fan of Shark Week, then you’ll want to see which of these Sharks reign supreme. Granted, we’re looking at four of Shark’s corded stick vacuum cleaners, but hey, a shark’s a shark, right?
This comparison guide will help you determine which corded stick vacuum by Shark is the right fit for your home.

Shark HV343AMZ Rocket
The HV343AMZ Rocket doesn’t look like much, but it’s actually one of the most powerful corded stick vacuums available today.

What makes the Rocket so amazing is its self-cleaning brush roll that uses a combination of short, stiff bristles and silicone fins the loosen, lift, and dispose of hair in an instant.
When it comes to cleaning above-ground surfaces, the Rocket is lightweight enough and the handle long enough to reach ceiling corners and the tops of drapes to get rid of hidden dust particles and cobwebs.
If you want, you can detach the main body from the handle to convert the Rocket into a handheld unit to spot-clean shelves, upholstery, and stair steps.

On the handle is a small control board that lets you adjust suction speed depending on the type of surface you’re currently cleaning.
In terms of maneuverability, there’s nothing to worry about with the Rocket. The swiveling neck lets you guide the floorhead to the left and right at the slightest nudge, so navigating underneath and around furniture is a breeze.

Shark HZ602 Ultralight Pet Pro
The HZ602 Ultralight Pet Pro is like the Rocket in many ways, but you’ll notice how much thinner this unit is in comparison. The Ultralight Pet Pro’s narrow build means there’s less weight to carry around when lifting it to clean overhead surfaces.

When using handheld mode (detaching the wand and connecting any of the cleaning tools), the Ultralight Pet Pro weighs a mere 3 pounds!
However, don’t let the Ultralight Pet Pro’s light weight fool you. It’s packing a beefy motor that delivers just as much suction power as the Rocket, so you’re just as effective a stick vacuum cleaner with less bulk to weigh you down.
One way the Ultralight Pet Pro differs from the Rocket is its brush roll. Instead of using a combination of bristles and silicone fins, this unit relies solely on Powerfins to dig deep into carpet fibers and extract dirt particles hidden within.
The fins are what make the floorhead self-cleaning, so the Ultralight Pet Pro will very rarely lose suction power when picking up stray strands of pet hair.

- NO HAIR WRAP: Pick up more hair with no hair wrap (vs. Shark bristle brushrolls).
Shark HV322 Rocket DeluxePro
We have another Rocket series stick vacuum to show you, but this one is the HV322 Rocket DeluxePro.

The two share very similar specs and features with each other, meaning that you’ll get the same amount of suction power, the same levels of maneuverability, and the same convenience of converting the stick vacuum into a handheld unit with a push of a button.
So, how do they differ? Essentially, the DeluxePro is more adept at picking up stray pet hair. This is due to the included Pet Multi-Tool—a tool with an active brush roll that loosens hair and fur from upholstery and carpets before sending them into the 0.68-quart dust tank.
While the Rocket’s upholstery tool works well, the Pet Multi-Tool is objectively better in every way, at least in terms of removing pet hair.

In every other regard, the Rocket and the Rocket DeluxePro are one and the same. They both rely on a combination of powerful suction and a self-cleaning brush roll to loosen dirt and hair, they both offer the same power setting levels to clean bare and carpeted floors, and their floorheads are studded with super-bright LEDs to expose hidden debris in dark spaces.

Shark HZ2002 Vertex
Last but certainly not least, we have the HZ2002 Vertex, an incredibly powerful corded stick vacuum that uses the DuoClean system to get work done in record time.
The DuoClean system consists of two brush rolls—a soft roller that extracts dirt from carpet fibers while gently massaging your floors, and the self-cleaning Powerfins that make nonstop contact on carpets and floors for a deeper clean.
The magic sauce behind this beefy stick vacuum’s outstanding vacuuming prowess is the HyperVeolicity Accelerated motor, which delivers a lot more suction power than most stick vacs out there.
The motor is what makes the Vertex able to clean both carpeted and bare floors with the same level of consistency.
When using the Vertex on handheld mode, you have the option to connect a standard crevice tool, a standard dusting brush, or the self-cleaning Pet Power Brush, which uses the same Powerfins setup as the main floorhead but for upholstery, auto interior, and other spot-cleaning jobs.
