Tangle-Free Brush Roll
Being the pet-oriented manufacturer of cleaning tools that it is, Bissell made sure to give PowerGlide 3080 a brush roll capable of picking up dust and dander.
In fact, when it comes to picking up pet hair, you won’t have to worry about annoying it wrapping around the brush—the tangle-free brush roll tosses hair into the inlet rather than reeling it in, so you’ll very rarely have to snip a bundle of hair from the brush.
The PowerGlide 3080 has two speed settings—Lo and High—which adjust how quickly the brush roll spins. You cannot turn the brush on or off to clean different floor types.

Washable Multi-Tier Filtration
Perhaps the most shocking thing about the PowerGlide 3080 is that it doesn’t come with a HEPA filter. However, it does feature a multi-tier filtration system that’s washable and reusable for up to six months. Make sure you rinse and dry the filter after every one or two sessions to maintain optimal vacuuming performance.
30-Minute Max Runtime per Charge
On a full charge, the PowerGlide 3080’s battery pack supplies up to 30 minutes of nonstop vacuuming. By cordless stick vacuum standards, this isn’t the worst runtime in the world, even though it takes about 180 minutes to fully charge.
This half-hour runtime is based on running the PowerGlide 3080 on its lower speed setting. If you crank it to the higher speed setting, you’re looking at about 10 minutes of cleaning at maximum, which isn’t too shabby by cordless stick vac standards.
CleanSlide Dustbin
Anyone who’s ever used a bagless vacuum cleaner knows how gross it can be to stick your hand inside of the dustbin to fish out wads of pet hair. Thankfully, with the PowerGlide 3080, you don’t have to worry about that any longer.
The transparent dustbin is lined with a CleanSlide filament that prevents the buildup of static, so hair doesn’t stick to the walls or base. To empty it out, simply detach the dustbin from the motor house and flip it upside down over a trashcan.

2-in-1 Convertible
Like most cordless stick vac nowadays, the PowerGlide 3080 isn’t a one-trick pony. It’s a 3-in-1 convertible that can turn into a nifty handheld unit in mere seconds. Just disconnect the long extension wand and attach one of the included cleaning tools.

The 3-in-1 rotating pet upholstery tool works great at lifting pet hair from furniture cushions due to the air-driven brush roll. In addition to the pet upholstery tool, you’ll get a standard crevice tool and dusting brush. All of these attachments can fit onto the end of the extension wand for greater cleaning reach.
LED Headlights
When it comes time to clean dark areas such as beneath furniture or in closets, you can rely on the ultra-bright LEDs inside of the floorhead. In some cases, the lights can even cast a shadow on large bits of debris, helping you identify which areas of your floors still need vacuuming.
