It has a built-in CleanShot Pre-Treater that, with the pull of a trigger, sprays a healthy amount of the carpet-cleaning solution to break up the filthiest stains to make cleanup a breeze.
To use the CleanShot Pre-Treater, just press the top-most button on the control panel located on the handle. After that, give the trigger a squeeze and you’re all set.
3 Cleaning Modes
The CleanShot Pre-Treater is just one of three available carpet-cleaning modes in the JetScrub. The other modes include Deep Clean and Express Clean.
Deep Clean is going to be your main cleaning mode when it comes time to eliminate stubborn, set-in stains from shaggy area rugs and carpets. It’s also the best option for when you want to remove freshly made stains as it can cut through moistness in carpets with the best results.
As for the Express Clean mode, this is great for those who don’t have time to deep-clean their carpets. Bissell claims that Express Clean can leave your carpets dry to the touch in just 30 minutes. Not too bad for a carpet cleaner that doesn’t have HeatForce!
½-Gallon Tanks
Like any high-quality upright carpet cleaner, the JetScrub features separate tanks for clean and dirty water. The purpose of a multi-tank system is to prevent cross-contamination between your cleaning solution and dirt-infused, suctioned-up water from your carpets.
The JetScrub’s dual-tank system has a collective capacity of one gallon, which can clean more than 250 square feet of carpeting, based on customer estimates. Of course, your mileage will vary based on which cleaning mode you use.
Simple Cleanup and Storage
The tanks detach with a snap from the JetScrub, which makes it super-easy to clean, refill, and mix your cleaning solution into the clean water tank.
Not only that, but the JetScrub has a telescoping handle that fits inside of the motor housing. When you need to whip the JetScrub out, just pull the carpet cleaner out of your closet, pull the handle out, fill the clean water tank with water and your go-to carpet shampoo, and you’re all set.
When all is said and done, push the handle back into the carpet cleaner and wrap the 20-foot-long power cord around the built-in cord hook.
Detachable Nozzle and Brush Roll
To make maintenance and cleanup even easier, the JetScrub comes with a detachable nozzle, which you remove to gain access to the brush roll. It detaches from the floorhead to rinse and dry away from the JetScrub in preparation for your next carpet cleaning session.
Make sure you rinse and dry the JetScrub’s brush roll thoroughly after each use, especially when using this tool to clean pet urine and feces stains. This will prevent cross-contamination on different parts of your carpets while extending the amount of usage you can get from the brush roll.
