You’ve probably heard of wet dry vacuum cleaner and mops before, but you probably haven’t seen any as stylish or as top-notch as the Tineco iFLOOR. If you’re tired of being tied down by cumbersome power cords, this cordless wet dry vac is a definite must-try.
Pet owners can’t get enough of the deodorizing magic that this tool can provide. Check out our review of the Tineco iFLOOR to see whether it’s the best wet dry vacuum for your home.
When shopping for a wet dry vacuum cleaner, one of the first things you’ll want to pay attention to is the floorhead and brush roll. The iFLOOR features a microfiber brush roll that works well on all surfaces, from tiles to hardwood floorboards.
The gentle fibers also offer outstanding cleaning performance on area rugs and medium-pile carpets, digging deep into the fibers to remove more set-in dirt with every rotation. Pet owners, rejoice—the brush roll also works well in picking up stray strands of pet hair.
Vacuums and Mops Simultaneously
Another thing that you should know about the iFLOOR is that it can vacuum and mop at the same time. Even though it doesn’t have an on-demand spray trigger, users can turn the mopping function on and off at will simply by pressing the buttons on the control panel.
Being able to wash and vacuum at the same time means less time spent cleaning smooth floors.
Of course, a pet-friendly wet dry vacuum cleaner wouldn’t mean much if it didn’t come with the right filter. Thankfully, that’s not a point of concern with the iFLOOR.
Inside of the tool is a handy HEPA filter that traps up to 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns. Dander, pet hair, pollen, and dust mites stand no chance of making it through the super-fine weaves of this premium-grade filter.
Apart from the traditional wet and vacuum-only cleaning modes, Tineco has installed a spot-cleaning mode into the iFLOOR, which delivers the most suction power to loosen set-in stains before suctioning every last bit up into the dirty water tank.
Please note that using spot-cleaning mode drains the battery more quickly, so you won’t get the maximum runtime per charge when using this mode exclusively. Speaking of which…
The iFLOOR’s battery pack can supply up to 22 minutes of nonstop vacuuming and mopping action per charge. While this isn’t the longest-lasting battery pack for a wet dry vacuum cleaner and mop, a single charge should provide enough time to remove most fresh stains. The battery back is non-detachable, so if there are any problems with the battery in the future, you’ll have to replace the entire unit.

Like most wet dry vacuum cleaner and mop combos, the iFLOOR has a dual-tank system, which separates clean water and cleaning solution from the dirty water tank. This system makes it virtually impossible to reuse dirty water to clean your floors as it’s not connected to the water outlet nozzle.
The tanks detach easily from the tool’s main body, making it easy to clean and refill the tanks after each use. The clean and dirty water tanks combined add up to about 0.95 liters.
Storage Dock with Self-Cleaning Technology
Even though the iFLOOR is a cordless tool, its docking station does not double as a charging station. You’ll have to keep the docking station nearby an outlet if you wish to dock and charge the unit at the same time.
However, something that you should know about the iFLOOR’s docking station is that it helps the tool run its self-cleaning cycle to remove dirt and grit from the microfiber brush roll and prepare it for the next vacuuming and mopping cycles.Related Tineco Vacuum Articles

Quieter than Many of Its Competitors
By no means is the iFLOOR a whisper-quiet tool. In fact, some users were quite shocked by how loud the motor is, but it pales in comparison to how much noise many top-performing makes and models generate.
The iFLOOR will undoubtedly jolt a dozing baby or pet awake, but at least you won’t have to shout over the tool’s motor to be heard.
Something that you might not expect from such an inexpensive cordless wet dry vacuum cleaner is durability. However, the Tineco iFLOOR aims to impress. Based on customer reports, this tool can last for at least two years, as its 24-month warranty would suggest.
Other shoppers have claimed that the iFLOOR’s battery—which is usually a cordless cleaning tool’s weakest component—can outlive the microfiber brush roll. If that doesn’t impress you, we don’t know what will.
