Levoit makes some pretty sleek humidifiers, but only recently has the brand started adding smart features into their devices. Today, we’re going to look at two Levoit humidifier models—the 200S and 300S—that maximize convenience with the help of app and voice support.

290-Square-Foot Reach
The Levoit 200S has a maximum effective reach of 290 square feet, making it one of the farthest-reaching humidifiers available today. We have the device’s powerful DC fan to thank for turning tiny quantities of water into microscopic mist particles that float effortlessly to all four corners of large rooms.
25-Hour Runtime
The 200S isn’t what one would consider a tiny humidifier, at least by modern humidifier standards, but it’s still small enough to move from room to room without issue.
But what’s important is that the 3-liter tank can supply maximum humidification (upwards of 80% relative humidity) for up to 25 hours per tank. If that’s not impressive, we don’t know what is.

Auto-Mode and Customizability
What’s so fantastic about the 200S is that it comes with a smart sensor that measures indoor humidity levels. When a room’s humidity drops below 40%, the sensor will instruct the motor to kick it into high gear and begin shooting mist out in all directions.
Using the VeSync app, you can also set your humidity levels to ensure that the 200S keeps indoor humidity within the desired range.

Levoit Classic 300S Smart Humidifier
Farther Range
In many ways, the Levoit 300S and the 200S are one and the same. However, there are a few key differences, and they mainly have to do with the 300S size.
First of all, this unit has a farther reach of up to 505 square feet—nearly twice far as the 200S’ effective range. Now, only you can determine which of the two is more suitable for your living room, nursery, or home office, but as the old adage goes: go big or go home.
Larger Tank
Since the 300S can output more mist per second, it only makes sense that it should come with a larger tank. Otherwise, you’d be left high and dry after just a few hours of running it.
Thankfully, the 300S does have a larger tank—a 6-liter tank, to be exact. What’s more is that with twice the capacity of the 200S, the 300S outputs mist for 60 hours, which is more than twice as long as its little-bro version. In short, the 300S can provide up to 7 nights’ worth of cool mist.

Humidifier/Diffuser Combo
Something we didn’t mention about the 200S but is available in both units is that they double as a diffuser. They have a specialized compartment where you can place a few droplets of your favorite essential oil to perfume a room in your favorite fragrance.
Voice Support
The VeSync app, which we touched on earlier, lets you sync your 300S, as well as 200S, to an Alexa device. When doing so, you can ask her to tell your humidifier to switch to auto-mode, deactivate the LEDs, or change between mist output levels.
