When it comes to robotic floor cleaners, there are two brands that serious shoppers should consider: iRobot and Roborock. Today, we’re going to pit the iRobot Braava Jet M6 in a head-to-head comparison against the Roborock S7 to see which of the two reigns supreme.
iRobot Braava Jet M6

It sports a motor that produces both inward suction and activates the two side pads to thoroughly scrub away spills and light stains. The S7 delivers up to 2,500 Pa of suction power, which is right up there with high-end robots, allowing it to loosen and lift anything from dust specks to bits of cereal from medium-pile carpets.
The S7’s main weapon to clean carpets and bare floors is the multi-directional floating brush. Like any floating brush, it maintains constant contact with the ground, giving it the ability to loosen debris from carpet fibers while also lifting more than surface debris from tiles and floorboards. The brush roll adjusts its position in three dimensions, so you know you’re getting the best possible results.
But the real magic behind the S7’s amazing floor-cleaning abilities is Sonic Vibration Technology. The motor drives two arms which move the two pads back in forth at a rate of up to 3,000 cycles every minute. The way the S7 gets around your home is with the help of LiDAR Navigation. A built-in camera scans your room to create a highly accurate digitized map of your home.
