If you’re looking for a high-quality robot vacuum cleaning solution at an affordable price, then you might want to consider checking out Eufy. Despite lacking the publicity of the larger well-established electronic brands, such as iRobot and Shark, this brand has been producing highly impressive models over the last few years. Recently, the Eufy 30 and Eufy 35C have been making waves in the market. But, just how good are they? And, what’s the difference between the two models?

Eufy 30 vs. Eufy 35C

Eufy 30

Suction Power

One of the most important aspects of any vacuum is the level of suction. The more powerful it is, the cleaner your floors will become.

The Eufy 30 has a suction power of 1500 PA. This is relatively high and will be more than enough to pick up all those crumbs of your floor and leave your carpets looking nice and clean.

The 35C also has a very impressive suction power of 1500 PA. This makes it as powerful as the 30. If you want to achieve a more thorough clean, then the 1500 PA of both robot vacuums is more then sufficient.

Air Filtration System

One of the big issues when it comes to any kind of vacuum cleaning device can be the level of dust and other particles that it leaves in the air. If a model doesn’t come equipped with an excellent air filtration system, then this can be particularly unpleasant. Especially if you have pets or young children close by.

Both robot vacuums have a high-performance filter system. These filters will trap all kinds of harmful particles such as pollen, tobacco, smoke, dust mites, and pet dander. This happens as the air is filtered through an ultra-fine mesh. With a capacity of 0.6L, both vacuums have plenty of space to store the dirt as it cleans.

Virtual Wall

Unlike with traditional methods of vacuum cleaning, the robot vacuum doesn’t know where the boundaries are, right? Think again, with virtual walls you can set up a cleaning area which prohibits the vacuum from crossing. This is particularly useful if you need to clean your floors section-by-section.

Both robot vacuums come with its own set of boundary strips. You can place these anywhere you need to define your virtual wall. The Eufy 30 and 35C obeys by cleaning only in the area you’ve defined.

Noise Levels

One of the benefits of using a robot vacuum is that you’re free to put your feet up and watch TV while it cleans the carpets for you. And fortunately, if you own a Eufy 30 robot vacuum, then it doesn’t make a whole lot of noise, with a sound level of 55 decibels.

The 35C also won’t disturb you, since it’s sound levels don’t go above 55 decibels. This makes it particularly beneficial if you don’t like loud noises.

Cleaning Time

The Eufy 30 will run continuously for 100 minutes. This should be more than enough time to clean your entire home in a single setting.

The 35C has a standard suction time of 100 minutes before it needs to be recharged. However, if you’re using Boost IQ mode for carpets, time is reduced to around 60 minutes of cleaning. For max suction mode which is perfect for medium pile carpets, suction time is reduced again to around 45 minutes.

So, what’s the difference between the Eufy 30 and Eufy 30C?

First thing’s first, both models are smart robot vacuums, but only the 35C is coming with a first-class app that lets you have complete control over the robot. In addition, The Eufy 35C is compatible with Amazon’s Alexa and Google Assistant. In fact, all you have to do is utter the words “Alexa, ask Robovac to start cleaning” while you watch it get to work.

If you have a Wi-fi connection and a smartphone you can easily connect your device with the 35C and schedule cleaning. The Eufy 30 lacks this functionality. In our opinion, using the EufyHome app or Amazon Alexa makes the Eufy 35C robotic vacuum cleaner so much smarter, that we would gladly spend a little bit more cash.

Final words

While Eufy is relatively new to the market, their 30 and 35C models are highly impressive. It’s clear to see that the company has a commitment to providing units with advanced technology.

Ideal for cleaning surfaces from hardwood floors to medium pile carpets, the Eufy 30 is a great robot vacuum for getting things done. If you want a bit more “smart” control, then the Eufy 35C robot vacuum cleaner has the upper hand.
