Best Vacuum Cleaner Brands by Type in 2023

We live in a world where every kind of product or need has a product, and more often than not, more than just one product. Given this insane amount of choice, trying to make the right choice can often be a bit of a struggle. Each product is subtly – or, sometimes, unsubtly – different, and it can be hard to tell which product will fulfill your specific needs in the best way.

Best Vacuum Cleaner Brands

Even more than that, it can be hard to tell which brand or product is of genuinely good quality. With the sheer amount of choices that we have today, making the “right choice” – a concept that you always have to define for yourself, before beginning your search – is often a somewhat challenging endeavor.

This is very much apparent when it comes to finding the right vacuum cleaner. So many different brands, product lines, and styles exist, and what used to be considered a very simple product, is now rather complex.

Countless features and styles exist, and given the differing needs of each person, finding the right choice isn’t always the easiest task.

That’s where this article comes in. In this article, we’re going to be looking at many different brands of vacuum. Each set of brands is divided into a specific type of vacuum, such as “Canister”, “Robotic” or “Upright.”

Using this article, you’ll be able to make an informed decision about the type of vacuum that is right for you.

>>> Upright Vacuums

Shark

Before we dive into the “Shark” brand of vacuums, let’s define what an “upright vacuum” is. An upright vacuum is the most common type of vacuum. It stands upright, tends to be rather bulky, but is usually pretty inexpensive and more than effective. The bag or “dirt storage” is always held upright, underneath the handle.

Now, Shark is a subsidiary of the SharkNinja LLC, which was founded in 2003. So, in comparison to some of the other brands that we’ll bring up, SharkNinja is quite young.

Household appliances are what Shark offers, and while vacuums are a large part of that lineup, steam mops and irons are also for sale, and they do have a substantial product line for those.

Here’s the thing about Shark and their upright vacuum cleaners. They’re incredibly well-made. Very efficient. Very effective. Very easy to use and operate, and for the most part, they’re exceptionally well-crafted vacuum cleaners.

Unlike other brands, however, they’re not meant to “push the limits”. Instead, these vacuum cleaners are meant to offer a more than adequate experience, at a decent price.

With that being said, however, within their upright vacuum product line, two new advances have recently hit the market. Advances that are exclusive to the Shark line of vacuums.

DuoClean is a new kind of vacuum head designed to more effectively suck in big, and small, particles, with less effort. This is achieved through these two brush-rolls that have been designed for this purpose.

Their other unique advancement is the Zero-M cleaning head, which actively removes hair from the brush, as you vacuum.

Bissell

Unlike Shark, Bissell has been around since the late nineteenth century. They began with the creation of the Bissell Carpet Sweeper, and since then, they’ve sold sweepers, steam cleaners, carpet cleaners, and, of course, vacuum cleaners.

Bissell logo

In the early 2000s, Bissell adopted a new approach when it came to their vacuum cleaners. Instead of manufacturing vacuum cleaners that were very general and standard, they focused a lot more on vacuum cleaners that would be able to easily and effortlessly vacuum up pet hair.

Today, most of their upright vacuums are designed around that particular need. Most of them are known as “Pet Hair Eraser” vacuums, which stand upright. These vacuums are incredibly effective when it comes to vacuuming up pet hair, as well as dirt and debris.

These vacuums are a two-in-one package. If you have pets that shed a lot, and you also want an upright vacuum that works wonders, then any of these Pet Hair Eraser vacuums would be perfect for you.

However, if you want a standard upright vacuum, Bissell has many excellent models that, while lacking some of the extra features that modern brands offer, are, nevertheless, excellent.

The standard upright vacuums come with nice warranties, a powerful motor, a power cord that is at least twenty-five feet long, and a multi-level filtration system.

So, if you want something that has proven, time and time again, to be effective, well-built, and inexpensive, then any of Bissell’s upright vacuums must be considered.

Hoover

In 1907, a man named Murray Spangler – who worked as an inventor, and had severe asthma – designed something known as the “Suction Sweeper.” It was designed to get rid of the dust that consistently irritated his lungs, while he swept his home.

Hoover logo

Just one year later, a man named W.H. Hoover, who owned a leather goods manufacturing shop, purchased the Suction Sweeper patent from Murray Spangler, and together, they began to manufacture the Suction Sweeper on a larger scale. In time, the business grew and grew, until it resembled the Hoover brand of today.

For the most part, Hoovers upright vacuums are very “no frills.” Any of the extra features they come with are strictly in service of the main function, which is, of course, that of sucking up dirt and dust and debris.

Many of the more expensive models – which remain, especially in comparison to other models, very affordable – have features such as “FloorSense” which allows the brushes to alter their speed when they detect different floor types.

FloorSense remains their most notable feature, with their upright vacuums, but each upright vacuum – regardless of whether or it not is specifically designed for the purpose – comes with features that allow for you to vacuum up pet hair with a great deal of efficiency.

In the end, Hoover is a very well-known manufacturer that makes excellent vacuums that are efficient, modern, convenient, and powerful. In comparison to Bissell, they are a bit more expensive, but the features they offer are more advanced and offer a cleaning experience that is incredibly convenient.

Oreck

Oreck vacuum cleaners were initially designed for commercial use in hotels. David Oreck, who became the company’s leader in 1963, shifted manufacturing focus from bulky backpack units to lightweight uprights. After reaching tremendous levels of success in the hotel industry, the company took its marketing efforts toward residential buyers, thus leading to the creation of the first bagged vacuum cleaner.

Since its inception, the Oreck brand has left a long-lasting impression on the vacuum cleaner industry, setting higher standards for quality, design, and reliability. Oreck has also expanded into different areas of home appliances, including such as air purifiers, but upright vacuum cleaners remain the company’s main product line.

Sanitaire

Sanitaire first became a household name in the 1950s following the release of the Heavy-Duty Blue series. A product division of Eureka, Red Sanitaire was known mainly for its commercial-grade quality and price tags, and to this day remains one of the more prominent supplies of hard-hitting vacuum cleaner manufacturers.

The brand focused heavily on cost-efficiency while also maintaining unmatched build quality, which has led to many of Sanitaire’s classic models from over 20 years ago still operable to this day. Even though Sanitaire heavily markets its upright vacuum cleaners, the brand also has a high-quality lineup of backpack vacs for industrial and residential use.

>>> Stick Vacuums

Dyson

Arguably, Dyson, founded by James Dyson in 1991, due to his invention of Dual Cyclone vacuum technology, is the most well-known and renowned vacuum manufacturer in today’s market. In their product line-up, they have a variety of stick vacuums, many of which are cordless and known for their beautiful aesthetics, and incredible functionality. However, it must be said that these vacuums come with a litany of premium features that do raise the price by quite a bit.

Dyson logo

Almost all of these stick vacuums are completely cordless. Each model, regardless of cost, can run for up to sixty-minutes, on just a single charge.

Now, stick vacuums are incredibly light, and very mobile, allowing you to maneuver them around effortlessly. If you live in a tight space, then it’s always good to consider these kinds of vacuums, because they are VERY effective at sucking up dirt and other debris that, with a standard upright vacuum, would be a lot more challenging to get.

Today, Dyson’s stick vacuums have the same motor and suction power as a regular, full-size, upright vacuum, while maintaining this mobility and small form-factor. Because of this, they are as popular as ever.

However, as was mentioned before, while these vacuums are top-of-the-line, they are quite expensive, and if your needs aren’t specifically aligned with that of needing a top-of-the-line, super powerful vacuum that is also incredibly mobile, then the Dyson Absolute Cordless Stick Vacuum product line might not be quite right for you, but that doesn’t mean that other Dyson vacuums won’t be!

Dirt Devil

Today, Dirt Devil, a subsidiary of TTI Floor Care North America, is known for having an incredibly vast array of different floor care products. The vacuums that they offer are only one of many categories that they have on display.

Dirt Devil logo

In the Floor Care industry, Dirt Devil is very respected and very well-known. Their products are well-made, more than affordable, and they always get the job done. That’s what their products are all about; getting the job done.

For most people, Dirt Devil will be one of their top-choices, because they offer efficiency and general convenience, above anything else. Sure, they have a couple of extra features that they do offer and have on display, but for the most part, their line-up of extra features is nowhere near as broad as, say, Dyson.

You can’t control or alter the vacuums setting with your smartphone. None of these vacuums have any sensors in place so that it can alter the brush speed based on the floor surface. And there is no fancy battery technology.

But, again, these vacuums work, and they work well. If you need something that offers the same mobility as a Dyson Stick Vacuum, and you don’t mind that the motor and suction speeds are weaker, then any of Dirt Devils’ recent stick vacuums should be more than sufficient for your purposes.

One final consideration, however, is that the majority of these vacuums are cordless, and the battery life is usually twenty-minutes. Depending on the size of your home, this might be a problem.

Eureka

In the year 1909, a man named Fred Wardell founded the Eureka Vacuum Cleaner Company. At the time, Wardell owned several patents to several different types of vacuums. It would be four-years before Wardell would be able to set up the first manufacturing plant.

Eureka Logo

Today, Eureka’s products are sold all across the world. As of now, Eureka is part of the Midea Group, which is a Chinese-owned electronics manufacturer, known primarily for the manufacturing of home appliances.

If you look at the stick vacuums that Eureka offers, you’ll find that they are very similar to the vacuums that Dirt Devil offers. Simple. Efficient. Convenient. Affordable.

Just like Dirt Devil and Dyson, they’ve spent a lot of time, in recent years, focusing on cordless vacuums, that don’t require the use of a long cord. Along the same lines, they’ve also focused on giving you a certain degree of control when it comes to certain aspects of your vacuum, such as cleaning your filters.

You see, Eureka’s vacuums are interesting in that the filters and dust cups can be washed in the sink, and they actively encourage you to do this. This is a unique idea because many other vacuums have filters that aren’t designed to be washed or cleaned. This is a nice feature that many vacuums lack.

Ultimately, though, Eureka makes easy-to-use, efficient vacuum cleaners that are definitely worth your money if you’re looking for something that gets the job done, without any hassle.

Tineco

While Tineco was established in 1998, it wasn’t until recently that the company began to gain traction in the world of vacuum cleaners. The first product to sport the Tineco label was a traditional upright, but following developments in cordless and corded stick vacuum technology, the company has gradually transitioned to a more modern-style vacuum cleaner for this day and age.

Tineco is undoubtedly one of the more well-known stick vac manufacturers due to its products having highly advanced tech-based features that became more popular after Tineco introduced them. In 2019, Tineco was rated the second-best top-selling manufacturer of cordless stick vacuums on Amazon.

NEQUARE

If you want to know what Amazon’s top-selling stick vacuum brand is, here it is: NEQUARE. The brand has developed some of the most low-cost, user-friendly, ultra-versatile stick vacuum cleaners available today.

The company believes in the importance of convenience in cost, usage, and customer service. Low-cost products have allowed NEQUARE to penetrate most markets and place a top-quality stick vacuum in the hands of people of all means. Unparalleled success in the stick vacuum realm has afforded NEQUARE to expand manufacturing to all kinds of other home appliances.

>>> Canister Vacuums

Miele

A canister vacuum is a type of vacuum that, similar to stick vacuums, are known for their mobility and overall convenience. They rely on a hose, rather than a standard vacuum head, and this makes them very effective when cleaning furniture and stairs, among many other things.

Miele logo

Now, Miele is a German appliance manufacturer that was founded in 1899, right at the turn of the century. Just like many other German manufacturers, the vacuums that Miele offers are known for their durability and overall quality. And the same goes for the myriad of other appliances that they offer. However, these days, vacuums are their specialty, and they seem to make the majority of their profits from their vacuums.

Each canister vacuum by Miele offers excellent suction, a strong, high-quality build that is very durable, and great filtration that ensures that everything is sucked in, without any issues or problems.

Regardless of the type of floor that you are working with, the vacuum always works incredibly well, and this is due, in part, to the control you have over how strong the suction is, along with the overall strength of the motor and hose itself.

Most notably, however, is the fact that this vacuum will last you for a LONG TIME. The components are exceptionally durable, and each canister vacuum is designed with the sole purpose of lasting for a long time and giving you, the customer, the most bang for your buck. What the vacuum may lack in features, it more than makes up for in lifespan and functionality.

Kenmore

Kenmore is a brand of appliances that is owned by Sears. At first, they only sold sewing machines. Then, in the late 1920s, they expanded into the washing machine business. Eventually, in 1932, Kenmore introduced their first vacuum cleaners.

Kenmore logo

To this day, they continue to sell all kinds of appliances, including vacuum cleaners. However, for the most part, their vacuum cleaners are held in less regard than many of the other brands on the market, and Kenmore doesn’t advertise them as much as they do their refrigerators and dishwashers.

Since Kenmore is owned by Sears, and since Sears is all about inexpensive appliances that work, it goes without saying that the canister vacuums Kenmore offers fulfill that exact purpose. Most of their latest models are designed to suck up pet hair easily, and they even offer a canister vacuum specifically meant for thick carpets.

When it comes to durability, they aren’t nearly as durable as the canister vacuums offered by Miele, but aesthetically, they might look quite a bit better for some. Furthermore, their list of features is a bit more expansive, making it easy for you to find a specific canister vacuum that will fulfill your exact needs.

Ultimately, Kenmore makes decent canister vacuums. They work well enough, and while they aren’t super durable, they aren’t poorly made, either.

Severin

Just like Miele, Severin is a German manufacturer of all kinds of different home appliances. Lately, they’ve been expanding their coffee maker product line, but they do offer some excellent canister vacuums.

Severin logo

Most of there canister vacuums are far less popular than the ones that have already been introduced. This is because they aren’t known for their vacuum cleaners. For this reason, many people either ignore them or are simply unaware of the fact that they do offer some excellent vacuum cleaners, for more than reasonable prices.

Right off the bat, when you look at one of Severin’s many vacuum cleaners, you’ll notice that they don’t have that many features. Sure, they come with a few extra nozzles, along with an extra large handle that you can attach if needed, but they don’t have anything extra.

Now, this can be a good, or bad, thing, depending on how you look at it, but one of Severin’s biggest demographics for their vacuum cleaners is senior citizens. This is because they design the vacuum to be as simple as possible – which means fewer features and because the buttons on their canister vacuums are big and easy to press.

It’s this simplicity, mixed with the quality engineering, that defines a Severin canister vacuum. You receive all of the benefits of a good canister vacuum, combined with the simplicity of Severin’s other appliances. And you get all of this for a very reasonable price!

That is what defines Severin and their vacuum cleaners!

Ovente

TopNet Inc. introduced the Ovente brand in 2010, one of the USA’s fastest growing manufacturers of consumer-grade appliances. Ovente initially started as a kitchen appliance manufacturer but expanded to include vacuum cleaners in its product line.

This brand is unlike most vacuum cleaner makers by focusing specifically on one type: canister vacuum cleaners. Perhaps what’s most surprising about this brand is that it’s an American company based in Vernon, CA, that keeps manufacturing on US soil while also maintaining low price tags. The lineup of Ovente-made canister vacuum cleaners is one of the most affordable Made-in-the-US options you can get a hold of.

>>> Handheld Vacuums

Black+Decker

Handheld vacuums are, obviously, much smaller than the vacuums that have been discussed. You can usually hold them with just one hand, and they work great on furniture. Today, almost all of them operate using batteries, rather than having any plug-in.

black+decker logo

Black+Decker has been around since 1910. They manufacture all kinds of different home appliances and tools, such as lawn mowers, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, sanders, and, of course, handheld vacuum cleaners.

Chances are, you’ve probably heard of the “Dustbuster.” It’s by far Black+Decker’s most popular vacuum cleaner, and, arguably, one of there most popular products. One of the reasons it’s so popular is because it’s so affordable. Now, handheld vacuum cleaners aren’t known for being particularly expensive – for the most part – but the Dustbuster is one of the most affordable handheld vacuums on the market. Since it is from a very well-trusted brand that can give customers excellent customer service and a great warranty, this is notable.

Now, just like some of the other brands that have been brought up, these are simple vacuums with simple features. Generally speaking, you’re going to use a handheld vacuum for small cleanings, especially given the size and nature of a handheld vacuum. Each of Black + Decker’s handheld vacuums is incredibly easy to use, easy to empty, easy to charge, and washing the dirt bowl is no problem.

If it’s simplicity you want, along with reliability, then Black+Decker is an excellent choice!

ThisWorx

If you’re in the market for a handheld vacuum cleaner, then there’s one brand you should keep in mind. ThisWorx isn’t as well-known as other vacuum cleaner manufacturers primarily due to its limited vacuum lineup. This brand’s main focus is on car-cleaning products, which happens to include handheld vacuum cleaners specifically for auto interior.

However, as far as ThisWorx vacuum cleaners go, it’s no surprise that the brand has left a long-lasting impression on car hobbyists the world over. Equipped with HEPA filters and coming with a wide assortment of spot-cleaning tools, ThisWorx handheld vacuum cleaners make the otherwise tiring job of cleaning car seats, dashboards, center consoles, and carpets a breeze.

>>> Robot Vacuums

iRobot

Founded in 1990 by three MIT Robotics students, iRobot was the catalyst for robot vacuums. Most people are familiar with or have at least heard of, the Roomba, and iRobot is the manufacturer of that particular vacuum.

iRobot Roomba

So, what is a robot vacuum? A robot vacuum is a vacuum that automates the process of vacuuming. You don’t need to hold the vacuum and move it around, instead, manually, you can turn it on, and it will begin cleaning your home. As time has gone on, more and more developments have taken place, allowing for more extensive features.

Such as being able to create specific routes for the vacuum to follow, sensors that detect where there is a lot of dirt. This will allow the vacuum to change its current suctions settings, among many other fascinating developments.

iRobot Logo

The Roomba is the most popular robotic vacuum on the market. There are many reasons for this, one of which is that it was the first functional robotic vacuum to hit the market. But, the main reason is that the Roomba is an exceptional vacuum! It’s equipped with so many excellent features – such as the ability to set schedules and routes for cleaning, sensors that adjust the speed depending on how dirty the floor is, etc. – that it makes the process of cleaning effortless.

For that reason, primarily, the Roomba is so popular and held in such high regard. Now, compared to some of the other, more recent, brands of robot vacuums, the Roomba is a bit more pricey. However, it’s worth it if you truly want an exceptional robot vacuum!

Ecovacs

Ecovacs is a technology manufacturer based in China, and just like iRobot, it specializes in robotic technology. Regarding popularity, the Roomba is, of course, more popular, especially in America. The quality is quite similar, and you’ll find that the Ecovacs robotic vacuums have, more or less, the same features as most Roomba’s.

Ecovacs Robot Vacuum

The robots have sensors that allow them to adapt to different flooring and levels of dirt. You can create schedules and routes for them to follow and they will charge on their own.

Most of their recent models, in a partnership with Amazon, work with Echo, allowing you to use Alexa to turn on the device and to direct it while cleaning.

One thing for you to note, however, is that iRobot has overall better US-based customer service, and the warranties tend to be quite a bit better, as well.

Eufy

Eufy is a product line that belongs to Anker, which is a Chinese electronics company that was founded in 2011. When it comes to these kinds of robotic vacuums, there aren’t too many differences between the different brands. Cost is one, but when it comes to the features and functionality, most of the differences are quite small.

Eufy Robot Vacuum

Unlike Ecovacs, the battery life on most Eufy models is about ten to twenty minutes more – an average of ninety-minutes – and they are known to work very well with pets, in removing pet hair and other pet debris.

Customer service is good, and many people who have problems with the charging dock, have been given a new one, free-of-charge. This is just on example of how Eufy treats its customers, and for that reason, along with the excellent prices and functionality, this may be a good robot vacuum brand to consider.

Ultimately, just like all of the other brands on this list, that decision is up to you. Think about what you need out of a vacuum cleaner, your price range, and the kinds of features that you would like to have, and then from those considerations; you’ll be able to make the right choice for you!

Roborock

Robotic vacuum cleaner manufacturers need to stay on top of the research and innovation game, and Roborock is certainly doing that. The Beijing-based company was started in 2014 and began producing instant-hit robot after instant-hit robot.

The company hasn’t confined itself to just robot vacuum cleaners, though it has made tremendous steps in manufacturing high-tend vacuum-and-mop hybrids. As a part of the Xiaomi ecological chain, it has gained greater access to markets across the world in a limited amount of time, putting high-tech Roborocks in the hands of people of more than 5 million people in just under four years.

ILIFE

ILIFE has created for itself a spot among the top robotic vacuum cleaner manufacturers of all time. Like other China and Hong Kong-based smart appliance manufacturers, ILIFE prides itself on its dedication to design, convenience, and customer support for the best user experience possible.

Available in over 40 countries across the world, “Always Ready to Serve” is much more than just a motto—it’s a way of life for the company. The company was first launched in 2010, where it released a primitive version of the ILIFE robot vacuums we know today. Whatever smart appliance you need to maintain clean floors, you can bet that there’s an ILIFE product waiting for you.

>>> Wet Dry Vacuums

Vacmaster

Vacmaster, brought to you by Cleva North America, is one of the more impressive wet/dry vacuum manufacturers you can rely on. There’s no shortage of wet/dry vac options when it comes to Vacmaster’s lineup. Whether you need a portable, 2.5-gallon model for use at home or a massive, mid-sized wall-mounted unit for your garage workshop, or a massive 16-gallon wet/dry vac for woodshops or construction sites, Vacmaster is a brand you can trust.

Vacmaster has also extended its product line to include all sorts of residential vacuum cleaners, an air mover, and specialized car detailing kits. Cleva and Vacmaster cater to customers of every demographic on every continent.

Craftsman

Being around for nearly 100 years, Craftsman is a name that most people know and trust. While the company doesn’t specialize in cleaning tools, its lineup of wet/dry vacuum cleaners is certainly something most DIY-ers and professional construction workers should consider.

From cordless to corded units, super-portable 2-gallon to massive 20-gallon model, you’ll most likely find a wet/dry vac from Craftsman that best suits your needs. Craftsman offers generous three-year warranties for all of its wet/dry vacuum cleaners to instill confidence in shoppers that its products are beyond top notch. Consider signing up to join the Craftsman Club for exclusive deals and priority support.

Armor All

Armor All is another brand from Cleva North America that makes wet/dry vacs. This brand, however, emphasizes manufacturing auto-detailing tools, including polish, dashboard cleaners, orbital buffers, and wet/dry vacuum cleaners.

Although Armor All’s vacuum cleaner product line is relatively young—launched in 2008—many people believe that the iconic black-and-orange vacuums aren’t just competitive but also offer the best back for your buck. However, since Armor All’s wet/dry vacs are primarily made for cleaning automobile interior, the brand doesn’t manufacture units larger than 2.5 gallons. This shouldn’t pose too much of a problem for car enthusiasts or light-duty woodworkers and metalworkers.

Dewalt

Dewalt lineup of wet/dry vacuum cleaners commonly ranks among the top-performing on the market, and it’s not hard to see why. Dewalt, a company founded nearly 100 years ago, has become one of the most well-known manufacturers of power tools and dust management systems for the good part of the last couple of decades.

Today, Dewalt’s dust management product line includes several portable and construction-site-friendly wet/dry vacuum cleaners for woodchips, silica dust (OSHA rated), and practically everything in between. Corded or cordless, large to portable, and even handheld wet/dry vac models sporting the Dewalt label are well-built and ready to tackle any type of debris you have on hand.

Stanley

Stanley has been in the power tools game for over one and a half centuries, so it’s fair to assume that the company knows a thing or two about keeping its customers happy.

It started in 1843 as a hardware manufacturing company, but unprecedented success in this industry has afforded Stanley to expand manufacturing to include hand tools, power tools, and wet/dry vacuum cleaners, among other product lines. Stanley’s wet/dry vacuums are unique in terms of suction power, filtration, size, looks, and portability. If you need a humungous 12-gallon model for construction jobs or a handheld unit for spot-cleaning auto interior, there’s certainly a Stanley vacuum out there for you.

>>> Central Vacuum

OVO

Although there aren’t very many central vacuum manufacturers to choose from, one company that exceeds expectations in terms of performance, reliability, and user-friendliness is OVO. This company started in 1980 as a subsidiary of Nadair and has excelled in a niche that caters mainly to commercial establishments.

As of late, OVO has begun producing residential-grade central vacuums that take the load off of household cleaning chores by producing and distributing cost-effective, easy-to-install central vacuum models. Many of the company’s products can be retrofitted into existing systems with minimal to no tweaking. With a 10-year warranty for every OVO-made central vacuum, there’s little reason to doubt the company’s promise of high-quality performance and value.

Nutone

Nutone’s lineup of central vacuum cleaners combines high-performance suction with unparalleled, multitier filtration systems to eliminate common allergens from office buildings, warehouses, and homes. The company’s central vacuum systems release suctioned and air from inside of your home to the outdoors, preventing the possibility of recirculation with proper installation.

An impressive filter system consisting of ULTRASILENT Technology offers both top-quality performance and peace of mind when vacuuming and purifying air. With a limited selection of central vacuum units differing in size and suction power, homeowners shouldn’t have trouble determining which Nutone PurePower model to take home.

>>> Backpack Vacuums

Atrix

Atrix’s lineup of backpack vacuum cleaners offers more benefits over traditional upright and stick vacuum models in terms of maneuverability, flexibility, coverage, and convenience. Vacuuming with a full range of movement offered by Atrix backpack vacuums can let you clean more than twice the amount of space that standard vacuum cleaners could in the same amount of time.

High suction power and multitier filtration, including HEPA filters, plus an ergonomic design is a recipe for maximum comfort and cleaning performance. The company’s lineup of backpack vacuums ranges in price from super-affordable to commercial-grade. Atrix also offers cordless backpack vacuum models that enhance mobility for cleaning tight, hard-to-reach areas.

ProTeam

ProTeam was first launched from Larry Shideler’s garage in 1983. At the time, ProTeam was a commercial cleaning company that utilized backpack vacuum cleaners for their enhanced smooth-floor cleaning performance. Over time, the company began tweaking backpack vacuums before coming out with major upgrades that didn’t just make backpack vacuums quicker but also more effective and less of a strain to wear.

Today, ProTeam specializes in hardwood backpacks for all floor types, but it also has a healthy lineup of canister and uprights for everyday use. Companies look at ProTeam as a leader in the backpack vacuum industry due to its Four Level Filtration, cleaning efficiency, and lightweight units.

Prolux

If you’re looking for commercial-quality backpack vacuum cleaners with surprisingly affordable price tags, then Prolux is the brand for you. The company offers corded backpacks for uninterrupted cleaning and cordless units for enhanced mobility around tight spaces.

Most of Prolux’s backpack vacuum models are bagless to further enhance cost-efficiency over the long haul. The few bagged models use HEPA bags to retain microscopic dust particles and other common allergens, leaving floors and indoor air virtually free of sinus-tickling debris. Prolux has been in the vacuum cleaner industry for over 20 years. With a heavy emphasis on research and development, Prolux will continue to produce top-notch backpack vacuums that are comfortable and easy to use.

>>> Stationary Vacuum

EyeVac

Stationary vacuum cleaners are relatively new, so your product selection is limited to just a couple of brands. But the one brand that stands out the most is EyeVac, a one-of-a-kind manufacturer of touchless, stationary vacuum cleaners. EyeVac’s vacuums are perfect for any home or apartment.

They’re compact enough to hide away in corners while also sleek in appearance so as to not stick out like a sore thumb. The best thing about EyeVac stationary vacuum cleaners is their simplicity—just push dust, pet hair, and other debris with a broom in front of the infrared sensor, and watch as your stationary vacuum suctions everything away in an instant.
