Dolphin C-Series
Maytronics’ C3 is a commercial-use robotic pool cleaner from the Dolphin’s C-Series line. The C3 robot’s filtration system consists of a 90-micron fine-particle cartridge and a 50-micron ultra-fine cartridge.
Both filters load from the top of the C3 once you push the ergonomic handle out of the way, giving you instant access. An LED indicator illuminates when the filters need to be rinsed.
While the sizeable pop-out filters generate a water flow of 4,500 gallons per hour, the quad-brush system loosens and lifts debris. Their exceptional scrubbing power never falls short whether the C3 is catching leaves along the waterline or sand on the bottom of algae on the walls.
The recessed tracks remain protected from becoming lodged with debris, making the robot more durable than open-track models.
The Dolphin C3 uses CleverClean technology that scans the swimming pool and tells the robot cleaner to avoid obstacles to plan where it will go. The gyroscope turns the C3 in a 360-degree rotation, making the robot cleaner a great choice for curved and angled pools.
With a swiveling mechanism keeping tangles at bay, the 60-foot cable provides enough length for most public and apartment pools.
On the power supply, there aren’t many controls. If you want to use all of the robot’s functions, you’ll need a remote.
The remote lets you select either the 2.5-hour standard mode or the 1-hour quick mode. You can even temporarily set the C3 to hold off temporarily, starting a cleaning cycle.

Dolphin Power Supply
Maytronics provides a power supply box with every Dolphin robotic pool cleaner. Why do you need one if you’re already getting a power supply with your robot?
Power supply boxes tend to wear out faster than their robot mates due to lightning strikes and power surges.
Accidents do happen despite your best efforts, like leaving it out in the rain. Heavy rainfall can wipe out a power supply. While the box is made of heavy-duty plastic, it’s only rated for water splashes on the Ingress Protection scale.
Plus, having an extra on hand even when the original is working will eliminate pool downtime.
This power supply box works with various Dolphin robots, including the Nautilus CC Plus and the H50. It’s a certified OEM part from Maytronics, and it’s an energy-saver at only 180 watts. The power supply is equipped with an integrated heat sink.
As opposed to heavy copper, Maytronics used a lightweight aluminum heat sink. Aluminum also radiates more heat into the air because it’s less dense than copper.
The power supply is easy to lift thanks to its 5-pound weight and contoured handle. The controls are also a breeze to navigate. There are two soft-touch buttons on the box – one for the power and the other for the scheduling function.
Press the scheduling button to toggle between a 3-times, 4-times, and 7-times-per-week schedule. An LED indicator dot light confirms your chosen schedule.
Important note: If your old power supply is broken, set the cord and bracket aside before tossing it. Maytronics no longer includes these parts with replacement power supply boxes.

Maytronics opted for rinsable media in all its Dolphin models. Most load from the top, but some are bottom-loading You have the choice between using a fine-debris or an ultra-fine debris filter, and you can interchange them.
Commercial Dolphins, as well as some residential models, offer both levels of filtration in one unit. A debris bag is optional on some Dolphins.
