Thanks to Alen’s WhisperMax technology, all four fan speeds are quiet, ranging from 41.5 decibels on low to 56 decibels on the turbo. However, this fan is not only quiet but also powerful, achieving an average CADR of 279. When the fan is in turbo mode, it can filter 286 cubic feet of air per minute.
Rabbit Air MinusA2
The MinusA2’s room capacity is 700 square feet. Wherever you put it, the Rabbit Air MinusA2 promises low-energy performance, consuming a mere 47 watts. Its efficiency is also contributed to the air intake that surrounds the front panel and the top-positioned outlet.
It’s also a quiet performer. Thanks to a durable brushless motor, the five-speed fan doesn’t put out much noise. On the lowest speed, the sound only reaches 20.8 decibels. On the highest speed, the sound climbs to a quiet 45.6 decibels. Due to a well-developed airflow system, the average CADR is rated at 198.
Conclusion: Despite the addition of one more fan speed than the Alen BreatheSmart, the MinusA2 is about 10 decibels quieter. Highlights of the Alen BreatheSmart include higher CADR ratings across the board, and it has the ability to work as intended in bigger rooms.
