Brushes and Suction

RoboVac 15T
BoostIQ kicks up the robot’s suction power when faced with medium-pile carpet and concentrated areas of dirt. Its V-shaped brushroll is strong enough to lift heavy debris yet gentle enough to leave hard floors scratch-free. Despite its max suction of 1,500 pascals, the 15T’s brushless motor performs quietly at 58 decibels.

RoboVac 15C
The Eufy RoboVac 15C can easily clean bare floors as well as 1-inch-pile carpets thanks to its powerful brushroll, pair of side brushes and 1,300-pascal, 55-decibel suction. Automated suction increase is available in BoostIQ mode. However, you can engage this feature manually by putting the robot in Standard mode.

Conclusion: When it comes to suction strength, the 15T is the clear winner. However, the RoboVac 15C’s 1,300 pascals of suction is still impressive. Both robots are equipped with BoostIQ technology, which has an automatic and a manual setting. Plus, they have a high-quality brushroll and two side brushes to aid in gathering debris.

Dirt Collection and Allergen Filtration

RoboVac 15T
On the RoboVac 15T, there is a transparent dust box that can hold approximately 20 ounces’ worth of debris. The box is easy to remove; simply push the release button. The hinged lid keeps dirt secure on the way to the trashcan, and a tri-layered high-performance filter prevents allergens from escaping.

RoboVac 15C
Like the 15T, the RoboVac contains a sizable dust box with a 20-ounce capacity. The box has a hinged lid, and it holds a high-performance filter, a foam filter and a pre-filter. When the buildup of dirt becomes too thick, the box can be rinsed, allowing for easier, cleaner maintenance.

Conclusion: Eufy put the same dust box and filters on both robots, and that’s fine by us. Who can complain about a dirt bin that size on a robotic vacuum? These robot vacuum cleaners also provide three levels of filtration, which is a feature that speaks to allergy sufferers and pet owners alike.

Durability and Onboard Controls

RoboVac 15T
This 2.85-inch-tall chocolate brown robot vacuum is protected by a glossy tempered-glass cover that’s resistant to scratches. A bumper, a drop sensor and obstacle sensors also lend to the 15T’s durability. On the top, the three-button touch panel allows you to start and pause a session, dock the robot and spot clean a small area.

RoboVac 15C
Rounded pinstripes on a black background give the 2.85-inch-tall 15C a futuristic look. The top cover is made of tempered glass to prevent scratches, and a soft bumper provides second-line shock protection shock. The onboard panel consists of just a push-start button and a Wi-Fi LED indicator.

Conclusion: Their appearance differs, but each robot vacuum has a full range of safety features, including obstacle sensors, a bumper and a tempered-glass cover. The 15T’s onboard panel is sleeker due to its touch controls and extra functions, but there are more functions on the 15C than only start/pause (see the Remote Controlling and Wi-Fi section below).

Remote Controlling and Wi-Fi

RoboVac 15T
The RoboVac 15T comes with a large-display digital remote for across-the-room control. Via the remote, you can access multiple vacuuming setting such as edge mode, spot mode and small-room mode. You can also manually drive the robot with the directional arrows and program an automatic cleaning schedule.

RoboVac 15C
Eufy includes a remote control with the Eufy 15C. However, you get the most functionality from the EufyHome smartphone app. The app has a find-robot locator, sends maintenance alerts and offers a scheduling function. Alternatively, you can teach Alexa or Assistant to locate, start, pause and dock the 15C.

Conclusion: In terms of cleaning modes, the remotes for the 15T and the 15C offer them all with the exception of one. The 15C’s remote lacks a display; therefore, programmed scheduling is only accessible through the app. Regardless, Wi-Fi connectivity and voice-command capability put the RoboVac 15C’s control system ahead of the 15T’s.

Battery and Charging

RoboVac 15T
With Eufy’s inclusion of a lithium-ion battery, the 15T can run for 60 minutes in BoostIQ mode. The working time increases to 100 minutes in Standard mode. Even when the battery level is low, the robot’s suction won’t weaken. It also self-docks to the charger, replenishing the battery in 5 to 6 hours.

RoboVac 15C
A runtime of 1 hour in BoostIQ mode and over 1.5 hours in Standard mode mean the 15C can vacuum a large home in a day. The 14.4-volt lithium-ion battery has a capacity of 2,600 mAh, and the maximum recharge time is 6 hours. However, those 6 hours apply to the battery when it’s dead, which is unlikely to occur thanks to the 15C’s self-docking feature.

Conclusion: The recharge time for both of the robot’s batteries is relatively long due to the cell capacity, but the flip side is the lengthy working time provided by the lithium-ion batteries. Each model drives to and settles on the charging dock, saving you the trouble of physically placing it or even worse, coming home to a dead battery and dirty floors.

Something for Everyone

While Eufy makes other robotic vacuums, the 15T and the 15C showcase some of the best features available in the RoboVac line. Each one has an efficient filtration system, edge and spot mode, a large dust box and a scheduling function. How do you decide which robot is right for you?

The Eufy RoboVac 15T is an excellent choice if you have pets or wall-to-wall carpeting because its 1,500-pascal suction can handle clingy fur and carpet fiber. If you’re often away from home or prefer all-inclusive smart products, the Eufy RoboVac 15C is the way to go. Both models are also ideal for large homes due to their considerable runtime. With the 15T or the 15C, you’ll get a lot of value at a decent price.
